Rudy Ricciotti (b. 1952) is a French architect and designer who also runs his own publishing company Al Dante, which specializes in architecture, photography and essays. Ricciotti has studied engineering in Switzerland and architecture in Marseille, and designed a great amount of bold and distinctive buildings, such as the Musée des Civilisations de l'Europe et de la Méditerranée in Marseilles and the Jean Cocteau Museum in Menton.
Ricciotti has also become famous for his strong and unconditional attitude towards the prevailing trends of design – he is an opponent of minimalism and a supporter of the ‘demuseumification’ of museums. Ricciotti has received various highly valued recognitions, such as the French Legion of Honor and the Order of Arts and Letters. View all products
