This Design Stories column provides answers to some recurring questions from our customers, which may be helpful and inspirational to others, as well. We have recruited Miina Lindblad from Finnish Design Shop’s customer service team to answer your conundrums.
1. I'm in search of a foldable sun lounger for my beach adventures. Do you have anything like that?
Yes, there are many different options! My absolute favorite is Skargaarden's H55 easy chair, made of teak and canvas, which looks like it could be placed in the prime position of your home as well. Other highly portable models include Skagerak's Steamer deck chair and Fermob's Bistro Metal chair. Our online store has a separate section for folding furniture so the selection is easy to browse.
For those looking for maximum comfort, I recommend Fatboy's Lamzac L air lounger or Lamzac O lounge chair, which are easy to inflate in no time at all. 3. Can the Excel outdoor shower be installed on a wooden patio?
Yes, the Excel outdoor shower can be installed on a wooden patio as well as directly on the ground. The product comes with comprehensive installation instructions, which can also be viewed on the manufacturer's website before making the decision to purchase. If you do not have access to hot water outdoors, you can get a slightly longer garden hose and use the sun as a heat source. However, please remember that water that has been standing for a long time should not be used for safety reasons. If you wish to place the head of the outdoor shower higher or lower than the standard set allows, please contact our customer service so that we can order you suitable accessories for customizing the product.
Miina Lindblad works as a design sales representative in Finnish Design Shop’s Customer Service team.
