L’architecte et designer danois Troels Grum-Schwensen (né en 1932) est connu pour son approche aux lignes épurées, réfléchie sur le plan structurel, où le mobilier est considéré comme une partie intégrante de l’usage quotidien. Grum-Schwensen est diplômé de l’Académie royale danoise des beaux-arts à Copenhague et dirige son propre studio depuis la fin des années 1980.
