The Marimekko Ruudut blanket features a collage-like pattern composed of sketches by Erja Hirvi, Maija Louekari, Anna-Maija Metsola and Jenni Tuominen. Each designer was given the task of creating an abstract nature-themed pattern that should be implemented with the paper-cutting technique. The end result is a fun grid that perfectly embodies the diversity of Marimekko's pattern designs. The playful look of the Jacquard-woven blanket is complemented by the fringes that surround it on each side. Ruudut is also an eco-friendly choice, as 70% of the cotton used to make the throw is recycled.
