Description

Marimekko’s coated Pieni Hyhmä fabric features a wintery flower motif designed by Aino-Maija Metsola. Originally sketched with watercolours, the pattern depicts plants frozen mid-bloom in a cold winter breeze – Pieni Hyhmä is Finnish for “small frost” or “small slush”. The cotton fabric is coated with acrylic, making it extremely easy to keep clean – if you, for instance, make a tablecloth out of it, you can simply wipe any spills off with a moist cloth. The fabric is printed in Helsinki, Finland.
