Nathalie du Pasquier got the inspiration for the textiles from a year spent in West Africa and her virologist father. Produced by Hay, the cushion covers have bright colors and strong patterns in common. Nathalie du Pasquier is a French designer and painter who lives in Milan. She is one of the founding members of the 1980’s Memphis group. Bright colors, lively shapes and innovative use of materials were a trademark for the Memphis group. The designs from the 1980’s were a starting point for the collaboration between Nathalie du Pasquier and Hay.
