Design House Stockholm’s Sand bowl is made from high-fired stoneware. The bowl is ideal for serving dessert or dips; in addition, it can be used as a coffee cup without a handle.

Designed by Carina Seth-Andersson, the Sand tableware was created originally for the restaurant NM& at Stockholm’s Nationalmuseum. Seth-Andersson thought that the tableware’s sandy hue is reminiscent of the museum building’s colour and wanted to leave the tableware partially unglazed – this way the tableware retains some of the material’s soft, raw feel and varying shade. A small NM& logo is engraved on each piece of the Sand collection.
