Klassik Studio’s The Hanger, designed by Adam Hoff and Poul Østergaard in 1964, is a clever wall-mounted coat rack and also a small, sculptural art piece. The Hanger features a folding frame with three coat hooks and a rack with hanger. When folded up, the hooks, rack and hanger draw a fun oak-coloured pattern on the grey-blue background.

Danish designers Adam Hoff (b. 1932) and Poul Østergaard (1933-2010) designed together several pieces of furniture in the mid-20th century. Their the most famous collaboration is the coat rack The Hanger which is today produced by Klassik Studio. Both were educated carpenters, and wood was the most essential material in their designs. Østergaard was also an architect who specialized in facilitating the lives of disabled people.View all products
