Karl Malmvall (born 1965) is a Swedish industrial designer. He worked as designer for Ikea from 1990-2002 and in 2002 founded his own design office Duduk Design in Stockholm. Malmvall has been awarded four times for the Excellent Swedish Design Award and has also received the Red Dot Design Award in 2008.

The ladder is esthetically pleasing, but it’s really heavy and I don’t think I’ll use it that much for all my needs (I.e. taking clothes out of wardrobe, objects from tall storage cabinets etc so I’m afraid I’ll rely again on my super old kartell ladder. Plus, the steps are painted with a kinda porous tint and probably they’ll get dirty soon. Overall I’m not satisfied, unfortunately
