Description
FDB Møbler’s J178 Lønstrup chair is characterized by organic, soft shapes and natural grain patterns of solid oak. The Lønstrup chair’s frame is composed of rounded oak rods, and the seat is made of a slightly bent sheet of oak.
Designed by Stine Lundgaard Weigelt and launched in 2022, the J178 Lønstrup chair honors the traditions of Danish woodworking and the history of FDB Møbler while at the same time evoking a fresh, modern Scandinavian feel. The graceful and functional J178 chair is equally well suited for dining tables and meeting tables or as an individual side chair in a range of decor styles.

Stine Lungaard Weigelt (b. 1978) runs her own design studio, Stine Weigelt Studio, in Aarhus, Denmark. After graduating in 2014 from Design School Kolding, Weigelt has been involved in a variety of projects in the fields of furniture and product design, art exhibitions as well as social design, and, among other recognitions, has been awarded with the Danish Finn Juhl award in 2017.
