Description
Established & Sons' portable Gelato table lamp has a playful shape that stirs the imagination. Designed by Carlo Nason, the rechargeable lamp looks — true to its name — like a scoop of gelato, though some might see something else entirely: an egg sitting in its cup. Food associations aside, the Gelato lamp finds its place well beyond the kitchen. The cheerful table lamp is easy to imagine on a bedroom nightstand, beside a living room sofa, on a bookshelf, or lighting up a home office desk.
The Gelato T1 table lamp consists of a colorful glass bowl with the light source nestled inside: a frosted glass sphere housing a replaceable LED bulb. The lamp is dimmable, with a three-level touch dimmer for adjusting the brightness to suit the moment.

Carlo Nason (1935–2026) was one of Italy's most respected and best-known lighting designers. He was born into a Murano glassblowing family and was introduced to its craft traditions early on at the family's glassworks. That background led him naturally into the golden age of Italian design, where he brought together the centuries-old techniques of Murano and the new ideals of the post-war avant-garde. His work shows both the influence of the Space Age and echoes of Art Deco, and his lamps, sculptures, and vases are held in collections including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Corning Museum of Glass.
