The Flora cushion cover by Kauniste evokes images of summery flower beds: its pattern blooms with blue and powder-pink flowers. The charming pattern was designed by textile artist Hannele Äijälä, who originally drew the pattern by hand. The square-shaped cushion cover made of durable linen and cotton mix and has a concealed zip closure on the side.

Hannele Äijälä is a Finnish textile and pattern designer. She has graduated from Aalto University with a master’s degree in textile design (in 2015) as well as from the Institute of Design in visual arts (in 2006). Äijälä works as a freelance designer specializing in textiles, illustration and art. One of her clients is the Finnish textile company Kauniste.
