Louis Poulsen’s PH 80 portable table lamp belongs to the lighting family designed by Poul Henningsen, whose members share the designer’s pioneering three-shade system developed in the 1920s. The lamp’s three-tiered opal acrylic shades form a harmonious whole that provides soft, glare-free light while serving as an eye-catching interior detail. The all-white finish gives the lamp a cohesive and tranquil appearance.
Charged via a USB-C cable, the portable table lamp features two dimming functions: the colour temperature can be adjusted steplessly, and the brightness can be set to four different levels. Thanks to its cordless design, the lamp can easily be moved to illuminate, for example, a dining table.
The elegant PH 80 lamp was originally released in 1974, posthumously, to mark the 80th anniversary of Poul Henningsen’s birth – a milestone that also inspired its name.
