Johannes Spalt

Austrian architect Johannes Spalt (1920-2010) is considered as of the most significant postwar Austrian architects. While studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Spalt founded the architect group “Arbeitsgruppe 4” with his colleagues – their work is still visible today in the architectural landscape of Austria. Besides an architect and designer, Spalt also worked as a professor and principal at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
