Skagerak’s Georg stool is part of a charming collection of wooden furniture designed by Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm. The clean-lined stool is made of untreated oak and the cushion upholstered with natural, unbleached linen is attached with simple strings.
Originally designed for hallway use, the furniture and accessories of the Georg collection feature a minimalist design influenced by Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics. The pleasant Georg collection is at home in both compact entrance halls and spacious living rooms.

- Notas Please note that the wood is untreated and may therefore be affected by grease and colorants. If you wish to make it more resistant, you can saturate the wood with a suitable furniture oil, for example.

Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm (n. 1977) estableció su propio estudio después de graduarse de la Real Academia Danesa en Copenhague en 2007. Halstrøm, con sede en Copenhague, diseña objetos y muebles para proyectos, exposiciones y marcas como Skagerak, Halle+ y Design Nation. Los muebles Georg que creó para Skagerak le han valido el Design+ Award, el Red Dot Award y el German Design Award. Elle Decoration Suecia nombró a la colección como el "Mobiliario de dormitorio del año" en 2016.
El trabajo de Halstrøm está influenciado tanto por sus raíces nórdicas como por el interés en la arquitectura y el diseño tradicional japonés. Los diseños se caracterizan por el minimalismo y los materiales naturales: la forma siempre sigue a la función. También trabaja con la diseñadora textil Margrethe Odgaard bajo el nombre Included Middle. Juntas examinan cómo la forma influye en el color y el patrón, y viceversa.
