The thick frame and the low proportions call to mind Japanese-style beds and tatami, though the Tall Wood Frame's interpretation is charmingly Scandinavian: wood, clean lines, and precise functionality. The bed frame sits only a whisper above the floor, which makes its sturdy structure look light and even a smaller bedroom feel more spacious.

Made in Denmark, the Tall Wood Frame has an oak surface treated with a colorless oil that brings out the natural depth and warm tone of the wood. A support structure running through the middle keeps the bed frame stable year after year, and two upholstered plywood panels give the mattress an even, solid base.
