Kauniste's Sauna fringe throw is adorned with a captivating pattern, showcasing cottages, forests and ponds – the serene ambience of the Finnish lake landscapes. Designed by Riikka Laakso, the pattern is continued on the other side of the blanket in contrasting shades. Small fringes on the ends complete the elegant look of the throw.
The Sauna throw is made of luxurious jacquard linen, giving the blanket a soft feel. Riikka Laakso is a Berlin-based Finnish illustrator who has studied illustration at the Berlin University of Arts. Known for her colorful and graphic style, Laakso publishes her own books and zines in small editions. She is also a member of the German illustration collective Parallel Universe.
