Description

Architectmade’s Panda was designed in honour of the two giant pandas that arrived in the Copenhagen zoo in 2019, in collaboration with Bjarke Ingels Group that also was in charge of designing the pandas’ enclosure. The adorable handmade wooden Panda is 15 cm high, and is a charming collectable for kids and grown-ups alike.

Bjarke Ingels Group, also know as BIG, is an architecture studio founded by visionary Danish architect Bjarke Ingels in 2005. The studio is known for its innovative and sustainable approach to design and architecture, as well as its modern aesthetics. In addition to Copenhagen, BIG has offices in New York, London and Barcelona, where it employs architects, industrial and interior designers, urban and landscape planners, researchers and inventors.

BIG has executed numerous projects all around the world, ranging all the way from product design to large-scale architectural projects, and received international acclaim, including several awards for the Mountain Dwellings building and the Superkilen park in Copenhagen, as well as the Danish Maritime Museum in Helsingør.
