Platå by Nedre Foss is a characterful solid wood tray designed by Anderssen & Voll. Inspiration for Platå was found from wooden moulds that have been traditionally used for making hats, shoes and gloves – Anderssen & Voll got the idea from an old mitten mould they saw in Hancock Shaker Village, Massachusetts. Platå resembles a hand that is holding and presenting something of special importance. You can use it for serving small appetizers or displaying small, meaningful objects. Due to the unique shape and grain patterns, Platå makes a fascinating decorative item also by itself.
