Tom Dixon’s striking Melt table lamp was designed in collaboration with the Swedish design collective Front. When turned off, Melt has a lustrous mirror finish that reflects light in fascinating ways across its irregular surface. Only when lit or when exposed to bright daylight, the shade transform into a translucent form that creates an illusion of hot melting glass.
The large Melt lamp stands securely on its tripod base, making it a perfect lighting piece for living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas alike. But it’s not limited to indoor use: with the included hanging strap, you can suspend the portable Melt lamp from a tree branch or pergola to illuminate garden dinners. A three-step touch dimmer lets you easily adjust the brightness to suit the space and the mood. On a full charge, Melt provides up to 8 hours of beautiful illumination. Once the light fades, simply recharge the luminaire with the included USB-C cable.
