Verpan’s Wire table lamp is a design classic by Danish design legend Verner Panton from 1972, now reimagined as a rechargeable version. For the Wire lamp, Panton paired two strikingly different materials: a glossy chrome-plated metal frame that widens upwards forms the base, while a semi-circular plastic shade softly diffuses the light, here in a beautiful, colourful finish. The light source itself is housed inside a matching semi-circular metal element, directing the light straight into the shade while preventing glare.
The portable Wire table lamp features a three-step dimmer and provides up to nine hours of light at full brightness. The atmospheric glow and bold, sculptural design make the luminaire a true eye-catcher on a coffee table, windowsill, or sideboard.
