Description

Asplund’s Luc Deluxe cabinet adds both style and storage to the home, office or public spaces. Resting on slender legs, the wood-veneered cabinet features two minimalist, handle-free doors that conceal a spacious open storage area. The top plate is made from clear glass.

The Luc collection, designed by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle for the Swedish brand Asplund, is defined by crisp, angular lines and contrasts between different materials. Natural elements such as wood, stone and glass play a key role, lending the storage furniture its distinctive character and individuality. Produced in Sweden, the Luc pieces suit kitchens, offices and living rooms alike, whether placed individually or arranged in groups.

Broberg & Ridderstråle

Broberg & Ridderstråle is a design and architecture studio founded by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle, both interior architects and designers who graduated from Sweden’s Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 2006. Based in Stockholm, the duo works across architecture and design, forming a creative partnership grounded in a shared aesthetic vision.

Their work aims to evoke emotional value and connect with users through familiar symbols and meaningful references. Drawing inspiration from everyday life, they combine a rational design approach with touches of humour and wit. Broberg & Ridderstråle have been recognised with numerous awards, including the Elle Interior Design Prize and the Design Plus Award.
