Description

Møbel Copenhagen’s Angel stool, designed by Gry Holmskov, brings together the strength of steel and a soft, poetic form. Its gently curved seat evokes the shape of angel wings, while the slender steel frame gives the piece an airy, almost floating presence.

Made from galvanised steel, the Angel stool is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use – ideal for terraces, cafés, public spaces and private homes alike. Lightweight and easy to move, it also serves as a sculptural element when not in use.

Danish Gry Holmskov began her career as a cabinet maker, but delved into furniture and product design after graduating from The Royal Danish Academy of Art, School of Architecture in 2010. The point of departure for her design work is functionality. Even though details are essential to good design, she does not want to add anything unnecessary to her designs. Holmskov is particularly inspired by nature and her own background in craftsmanship.
