Description
Le Klint’s Soleil pendant light is a fresh interpretation of Le Klint’s classic pleats by Danish designer Philip Bro Ludvigsen. Ludvigsen sought inspiration for the shape of the lamp from the sun – the name of the lamp, Soleil, is French and means just that.
In the Soleil luminaire, the classic folded shade is combined with a flat aluminum disc, which gives it a modern and distinctive look. An elegant final touch is provided in the form of an oak hanging tube above the shade. With its diameter of 35 cm, the luminaire is suitable for a wide variety of spaces from private homes to restaurants and office meeting rooms.

Philip Bro Ludvigsen (b. 1962 in Australia) is a Danish industrial designer renowned for his work with furniture, lighting and home interior products. Ludvigsen graduated from Denmark’s School of Design in Copenhagen in 1989 and subsequently gained experience at various Danish design firms. In 2001, Philip Bro Ludvigsen established his own studio, Philip Bro Design. Philip Bro Ludvigsen's designs often employ rounded shapes and natural, soft materials, catering to a mix of international clients as well as a local Danish clientele including FDB Furniture, Royal Copenhagen, Georg Jensen and Fredericia Furniture.
