Utopia & Utility’s Drift is a handcrafted art glass sculpture designed by Finnish-German Pia Wüstenberg. Drift features a charmingly asymmetrical glass base inspired by the flowing shapes of water, paired with an alder wood element placed on top. The wood’s uneven edges create a naturally elegant crown, giving the piece an organic and refined character. Stacked together, the elements form a striking decorative sculpture, while the glass vessel can also be used on its own – for example, as a vase for flowers.
The Stacking Vessels collection celebrates local craftsmanship, with all its pieces produced in Europe: the glass is mouth-blown in the Czech Republic, the wooden pieces hand-turned in Finland and the metal parts hand-spun in England. The final assembly takes place at Utopia & Utility's own warehouse in Northern Germany. Skillfully crafted Stacking Vessels add a captivating touch to any shelf or dining table and serve as a perfect choice for a memorable gift.
