Flos’s Nocturne 2 floor lamp combines a minimalist aluminium stem with two cone-shaped shades made from hand-blown borosilicate glass. The height of the shades can be freely adjusted by sliding them along the stem. Dimmable LED modules direct light both upwards and downwards, providing both focused reading light and soft ambient illumination.
Designed by Konstantin Grcic, Nocturne represents a modern aesthetic rooted in industrial design traditions. It works equally well beside a sofa or armchair in the living room as it does in a bedroom or hallway.
