Fiskars X-Series kindling splitter makes preparing firewood kindling easy and safe. Designed for wall mounting, it’s a practical tool for use at a summer cottage, by the sauna or at a fire pit. The cutting blade is a WoodXpert billhook made from hardened carbon steel, which can also be detached and used on its own without the frame. The maximum length for split logs is 37 cm, and for branches, a recommended maximum thickness of 3 cm.
The splitter’s frame and handle are made from lightweight yet durable FiberComp material, while the shaft features a textured SoftGrip coating for a secure hold. A locking mechanism keeps the blade safely in place when the tool is not in use.
