Linie Design’s Split Plains wool rug stands out with its soft, hand-tufted surface and a two-tone pattern with a gently graphic look. What gives the rug its distinctive character is its two-level surface texture: the pattern alternates between a lively bouclé surface and cut pile areas.

Designed by Urd Moll Gundermann, the Split Plains rug brings a sense of softness and understated luxury to living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms alike. Its densely tufted surface makes it easy to care for and keep clean. This high-quality, durable wool rug is handmade in India.

  • Care instructions Vacuum regularly in the direction of the pile. Do not use a brush head or rotating brushes. Professional flat washing recommended. Some shedding is normal for new wool rugs; remove loose fibres as they appear. Heavy furniture may flatten the pile. Colours may fade in sunlight. Use an underlay to help prevent discolouration.

Urd Moll Gundermann is a Danish designer whose work spans fashion, home textiles, prints, and industrial design. A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied fashion and textile design, Moll Gundermann has worked extensively with both Danish and international brands.

Since 2012, Moll Gundermann has been part of the Danish rug brand Linie Design, where she was appointed Head of Design in 2019. In addition to rug design, she also contributes to shaping the brand’s visual identity.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
