Stilnovo’s Minibox table lamp represents the experimental spirit of 1980s Italian design. Designed by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni and introduced in 1981, the lamp features a boxy metal body with a handle and a spotlight-style lamp head attached by a magnet. Thanks to the magnetic fixing, the angle of the light can be freely adjusted to suit different needs.
Made from glossy metal, the Minibox table lamp recalls vintage tools and old work lights, drawing inspiration from miners’ lamps. The dimmable table lamp works equally well as a statement piece in a living room or as a reading light in a bedroom or office. The practical handle also makes it easy to move the lamp from one spot to another.
