This month, Finnish Design Shop welcomed a whopping number of new products – over 800 new and exciting products were added to the selection in March. Design Stories chose five favorites – take a look and find yours!
1. Form & Refine: Rim pinboard
Form & Refine's Rim pinboard is a stunning addition to the office as well as at home. Whether you need to visualize a project or organize everyday life, the beautiful memo board designed by Herman Studio is both a handy tool and an eye-catching interior element. Place a jar of pins or pens on the petite shelf – or decorate it with your favorite items.
2. Menu: Zet Storage System
Even the smallest details can break conventions in significant ways. Designed by design studio Kaschkasch, the refined, classic look of the Zet Storage System offers guaranteed elegance for a wide range of interiors, but the shelves can also be complemented and customized with a variety of back panels and shelves for a more personalized look.
3. Forgo hand soap
Soap is rarely a topic that increases your heart rate, but Forgo’s hand soap novelties make your chest pound for a reason. Made from 99% natural ingredients, the innovative powder-to-liquid soap comes packaged in a paper bag, completely free of plastic.
When mixed with hot tap water, the powder turns into foaming, sulfate-free, vegan, moisturizing, gentle, ecological, and quite breathtaking hand soap – with a lovely natural scent.
4. &Tradition: Caret MF 1 portable table lamp
Portable lamps have revolutionized home lighting forever. The beautiful, cordless luminaires are an unbeatable source of both ambiance and style and are easy to move from the window sill to the balcony and from the balcony to your favorite reading nook.
&Tradition's Caret MF1 portable table lamp is Matteo Fogale's clever interpretation of traditional banker lamps whose green shades are a delightful spot of color in the history of banks and libraries.
5. Ferm LIVING: Plant Box
Ferm LIVING's beautiful Plant Box is certainly not a new acquaintance, but the striking novelty color complementing the familiar, harmonious color palette definitely deserves an honorable mention. The bright blue hue instantly refreshes the space, creating an eye-catching contrast with lush greenery and earthy tones.
+ 1 HAY: Balcony collection
The most certain sign of summer is the launching of Finnish Design Shop's Summer Shop. Featuring furniture for the balcony, patio, and garden, the Summer Shop is the perfect one-stop shop for inspiration and anticipation – as well as all-new outdoor furniture.
HAY's Balcony collection is another future favorite from Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The extremely lightweight pieces of outdoor furniture are made of thin metal sheets with holes punched through them to strengthen the structure. The round holes also enable rainwater to drain swiftly off the surface – and aren't they also quite pleasing visually.
