Frandsen’s Ball portable table lamp represents Danish functional design at its finest, with a splash of vintage flair. Benny Frandsen's masterful interpretation of the classic round ceiling lamp takes you straight back to the 1960s with its minimalist shape and retro-inspired hues, which offer the perfect color option for any space.

The battery-powered Ball portable table lamp, charged via USB-C, can be moved around the home with ease – perfect for brightening a reading nook, dining table or living area. The lamp features a Frandsen One light source that attaches with a magnet, making it easy to remove and recharge – on its brightest setting, it provides up to about 12 hours of light at a time. The adjustable shade and 3-step dimmer allow you to set just the right atmosphere, whatever the moment.

Benny Frandsen

Benny Frandsen is a Danish lighting designer and manufacturer. Frandsen, who studied engineering, had a big dream to create lighting solutions. In 1968, he started crafting lamps independently in his basement, which led to the birth of the company Frandsen. After his most famous luminaire, the Ball lamp, Frandsen has won numerous design awards for his various lamp models. His style is characterized by classical graphic forms and timeless, functional design.
