The playful Shhh! pendant blurs the line between functional object and work of art, as you would expect from Ingo Maurer's luminaires. The concept is simple yet beautiful: a light bulb wearing a pair of headphones, as if shielding its ears from the noise of the world outside – shhh!
But this wouldn't be an Ingo Maurer creation without a surprise tucked inside! The light doesn't actually come from the bulb at all. The light source is hidden inside the headphones, from where it spills out softly in every direction.
