Description

Marset’s Ringo C 70 ceiling lamp has a presence so solid it seems to defy gravity. Designed by Joan Gaspar, the ceiling lamp resembles a block of ice, with light filtering softly through its surface to create a captivating, atmospheric glow. While its lively reflections might suggest the material is glass, the shade is in fact made from transparent polycarbonate. This surprising detail only adds to the pendant's intrigue.

The striking Ringo lamp makes a stunning statement when clustered in multiple lamps in high-ceilinged spaces such as lobbies, lounges, or hallways. At the same time, the ceiling lamp works beautifully as a standalone focal point in a bedroom right above the nightstand.

Joan Gaspar

Joan Gaspar (b. 1966) is a Spanish lighting designer who has designed lamps for brands such as Marset, Santa & Cole and Vapor since 1988. Gaspar has studied industrial design in Barcelona and also given classes at the Elisava School of Design in Barcelona. During his career, Gaspar has won the Spanish Delta de Plata award twice, and in 2000 he received the first prize at the Valencia International Furniture Fair. In 2002 he opened his own studio in Barcelona.
