Description

The Colu basket by Normann Copenhagen keeps your home tidy in style. The versatile storage basket works perfectly as a toy bin in the children’s room, a cosy nest for throws in the living room or even as a laundry basket. The basket features convenient handles that make it easy to move from room to room.

The Colu basket is made from recycled PET felt – a material created from plastic bottles that, through an intricate recycling process, are transformed into polyester fibers. These fibers are then pressed into a felt-like fabric that is both durable and visually pleasing.

Baptiste Vandaele

Belgian designer Baptiste Vandaele (b. 1999) combines form and material with inventive precision. Born in Kortrijk, Vandaele developed an early interest in design while studying visual arts, which sparked his curiosity about how ideas can be transformed into real objects. He later pursued industrial design and graduated with honors from Howest University of Applied Sciences in Belgium.

After establishing his own studio, Vandaele has collaborated with several international brands in Denmark, Italy, Japan, and France. His work is characterised by timelessness, refined details, and a spirit of curiosity that continually pushes design in new and unexpected directions.
