Architectmade's FJ Essence bowl is designed by Finn Juhl, one of the leading figures of Danish mid-century modernism. The small, curved bowl plays many roles: it's just as easy to picture at an everyday breakfast as it is dressing up a more festive table. The small Essence bowl also works well beyond the dining table, as a decorative accent and a home for the little treasures of everyday life — or simply admired for its own sake!
Finn Juhl designed the FJ Essence tableware in 1952, but it never entered production — its delicate, sweeping lines were simply too difficult to manufacture at the time. Six decades on, Architectmade came across Juhl's original sketches and finally brought the collection to life. The pieces are made from white porcelain and finished with a hand-applied glaze.
