Architectmade's FJ Essence fruit bowl is designed by Finn Juhl, one of the leading figures of Danish mid-century modernism. The beautifully curved bowl is easy to imagine holding fruit, serving salad, or presenting different sweet and savoury bites, but it works just as easily beyond the dining table, as a decorative accent and a home for the little treasures of everyday life.
Finn Juhl designed the FJ Essence tableware in 1952, but it never entered production — its delicate, sweeping lines were simply too difficult to manufacture at the time. Six decades on, Architectmade came across Juhl's original sketches and finally brought the collection to life. The pieces are made from white porcelain and finished with a hand-applied glaze.
