Architectmade's FJ Essence candy bowl is designed by Finn Juhl, one of the leading figures of Danish mid-century modernism. As the name suggests, the beautifully curved bowl is perfect for serving candies and other treats, both sweet and savoury, but it's just as easy to picture beyond the dining table, as a decorative accent and a home for the little treasures of everyday life – or simply admired for its own sake!
Finn Juhl designed the FJ Essence tableware in 1952, but it never entered production. Those delicate, sweeping lines were simply too difficult to manufacture at the time. Six decades on, Architectmade came across Juhl's original sketches and finally brought the collection to life. The pieces are made from white porcelain and finished with a hand-applied glaze.
