Alessi's 5071 Parmesan cheese cellar is the perfect addition to any table setting for cheese lovers everywhere. Designed by Ettore Sottsass, the design classic is made from clear glass and mirror-polished stainless steel and has been charming tables and gatherings since 1978.

True to Sottsass’s signature style, the 5071 cheese cellar is streamlined and timeless – an elegant interpretation that elevates an everyday cheese bowl into a stylish accessory for daily use. The practical and refined Parmesan cheese cellar also makes a thoughtful gift for passionate home cooks as well as dedicated design collectors.

Ettore Sottsass

Ettore Sottsass (1917–2007) was an influential Italian designer and architect, who became famous for his colourful, modernist designs and experimental, radical attitude. He was one of the founders of the design group Memphis, and in 1980 he founded his own agency Sottsass Associati, which today has offices in London and Milan. Sottsass designed many products for the Italian design brand Alessi, and his works are included in the Alessi 100 Values Collection, which was launched to celebrate Alessi's centennial.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:
