Description
Asplund’s Luc Console table is a sleek way to add both style and storage to the home, office or public space. The refined design combines a drawer with a brass handle and an open shelf underneath – perfect for keeping magazines, baskets or everyday essentials neatly within reach. The tabletop is made from Jura limestone, a natural stone with a marble-like appearance.
The Luc collection, designed by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle for the Swedish brand Asplund, is defined by crisp, angular lines and contrasts between different materials. Natural elements such as wood, stone and glass play a key role, lending the storage furniture its distinctive character and individuality. Produced in Sweden, the Luc pieces suit kitchens, offices and living rooms alike, whether placed individually or arranged in groups.

Broberg & Ridderstråle is a design and architecture studio founded by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle, both interior architects and designers who graduated from Sweden’s Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 2006. Based in Stockholm, the duo works across architecture and design, forming a creative partnership grounded in a shared aesthetic vision.
Their work aims to evoke emotional value and connect with users through familiar symbols and meaningful references. Drawing inspiration from everyday life, they combine a rational design approach with touches of humour and wit. Broberg & Ridderstråle have been recognised with numerous awards, including the Elle Interior Design Prize and the Design Plus Award.
