Artemide’s Tolomeo Basculante Lettura floor lamp is a renowned classic of Italian design. Tolomeo Basculante Lettura features a round base, a graceful aluminium foot and a shade made of plastic and parchment paper. Balanced by a system of springs, the foot can be bent to the desired position while the shade remains vertical. Tolomeo Basculante Lettura makes a timeless addition to any room and reading nook.

The lightweight Tolomeo collection by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina received the famous Compasso d'Oro award in 1989. It was credited with having achieved the perfect balance between design and engineering. Due to their adaptable and timeless design, Tolomeo lamps are equally well suited for homes, offices and public spaces.
