SB Cinquantotto pendant
Description
Astep's SB Cinquantotto pendant light was originally designed by the Italian architectural duo Santi Borachia (Carlo Santi and Vittorio Borachia) back in 1958. The atmospheric Cinquantotto pendant light is composed of a white, frosted opal glass shade and a black cord running freely along a thin suspension wire.
Thanks to its timeless and simplistic expression, Cinquantotto looks great in any kind of interior, and can also be hung in clusters or pairs. The Cinquantotto pendant has been manufactured in Italy, and its opal glass shade is handblown.

The Italian architectural duo Santi Borachia was formed by Carlo Santi (1925–2004) and Vittorio Borachia (1920–2015). They met while studying at the Polytechnic University of Milan in the 1940s, and collaborated in various different projects ranging from architecture and urban planning to lighting and furniture design. Santi Borachia's work was often an interesting combination of formal principles, industrial techniques and soft elegance.
