Vaarnii's 020 Koppa crate brings the elegance of Finnish pine to your interior and your storage. Designed by Philippe Malouin, the wooden storage box charms with its versatility: the large Koppa is just as at home holding vinyl records, books, and magazines as it is holding other bits and tools.
Made from solid Finnish pine, the storage box stands up to time, use, and the odd knock. A built-in handle makes it easy to move from room to room, and the sturdy crates also stack neatly on top of one another, so you can arrange several into a unified pine storage solution. As pine ages, it takes on a honeyed tone, so with time and use, your Koppa crate only grows more characterful.

- Notes Pine is a soft wood and will suffer some dents and scratches over time, which should be embraced and enjoyed as characterful signs of aging. Pine will naturally change color as it ages with your pale piece of furniture gradually maturing to a beautiful honey color over the course of several years.

Philippe Malouin is a British-Canadian designer who lives and works in London. He has studied design at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in Paris and the University of Montreal. Prior to establishing his own design studio, Malouin worked for English designer Tom Dixon, and from 2012 to 2015, he worked as a teacher at the Royal College of Arts, London. Malouin also works in architecture and interior design as director of POST-OFFICE.
Malouin is known as a versatile designer whose products are easy to understand and use. He believes in the calming effect of simple, refined design that serves a practical purpose. In his career, Malouin has designed furniture, lamps, rugs as well as art objects, and collaborated with Resident, SCP, Kvadrat, Iittala, Swarovski and Aesop, among others.
