Description

Designed by Thomas Jenkins for Skagerak, Jut is a sophisticated cabinet for storing tableware, clothes, office supplies, and other necessities. The frame is crafted from oiled oak, and the handles are in brass. The space behind the right and mid doors is divided by a removable shelf, and the room behind the left door has been left empty. The combination of luxurious materials and smart design makes Jut both a practical storage cabinet and an eye-catching design object.

Please note that the cabinet's height was updated in 2021.

Thomas Jenkins

Thomas Jenkins is a British, Oslo-based industrial designer whose work explores different materials, craft skills and industrial methods of production. Jenkins founded his own studio in 2010, and he also works at the branding agency WORK. Jenkins describes his vision for design with the words "quality over fashion".
