Description

Magis' Tambour side table, designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, is a versatile two-tier table finding its place next to a sofa or an armchair, for instance. Constructed with a cast aluminium frame and polished tabletop, this side table pairs raw industrial aesthetics with sleek and simple forms. With its dual tabletops, it provides ample space for coffee cups and candles, as well as a stack of your favourite magazines or books.

Tambour tables are created to seamlessly blend into various environments, whether it's a vintage-inspired interior or a space embodying modern minimalism, in a private residence or perhaps a restaurant. Launched in 2012 and expanded in 2023, the Tambour collection reflects the Bouroullec brothers' exceptional ability to strike a balance between formal elegance and uncomplicated simplicity. The various sizes and shapes within the series also allow for delightful combinations.

  • Notes Comes flat-packed.
  • Care instructions Clean with a soft cloth, dry or wet, and a diluted ph-balanced soap if necessary. Don't use abrasive sponges. Dry immediately with a soft cloth or chamois leather.
    Aluminium may dull with use; use specific cleaning products for aluminium to maintain the original look. Surface marks are natural to hand brushed and polished aluminium.

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec

The Bouroullec brothers, Ronan (born 1971) and Erwan (born 1976) are born in Brittany, France and their design office is situated in Paris. The brothers have emerged as one of the most succesful designers in France and they have designed to companies such as Artek, Iittala, Vitra, Alessi, Magis, Flos and Hay. The Bouroullec brothers have also won numerous awards, for example the Steelwood Chair for Magis won the prestigious Compasso D'Oro in 2011.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
