Description

Foscarini's Nile table lamp is a charming combination of opposites: warm, delicate glass meets cool, strong marble. The table lamp consists of a cone-shaped blown glass figure that balances on a tilted cylindrical marble base, like it's almost fighting against gravity. The light shines beautifully upwards and downwards at the same time, creating a warm atmosphere in different rooms of the home as well as in public spaces.

The beautiful lamp takes its name from the Nile River in Egypt. The designer, Rodolfo Dordon, says that when he looked at the lamp, he was reminded of the famous bust of Queen Nefertiti. And let’s face it: the sculptural luminaire gives off an impression of royal dignity.
