Description

FDB Møbler’s J178 Lønstrup chair is characterised by organic, soft shapes and natural grain patterns of solid oak. The Lønstrup chair’s frame is composed of rounded oak rods, and its patterned seat is hand-braided from paper cord.

Designed by Stine Lundgaard Weigelt and launched in 2022, the J178 Lønstrup chair honours the traditions of Danish woodworking and the history of FDB Møbler while at the same time evoking a fresh, modern Scandinavian feel. The graceful and functional J178 chair is equally well suited for dining tables and meeting tables or as an individual side chair in a range of decor styles.

Stine Lundgaard Weigelt

Stine Lungaard Weigelt (b. 1978) runs her own design studio, Stine Weigelt Studio, in Aarhus, Denmark. After graduating in 2014 from Design School Kolding, Weigelt has been involved in a variety of projects in the fields of furniture and product design, art exhibitions as well as social design, and, among other recognitions, has been awarded with the Danish Finn Juhl award in 2017.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
