Rosamar flower pot 02, orange - grey
Description
Serax's Rosamar flower pot has a recognisable look, given a pleasingly unique edge by its colourful square base. Made from glazed stoneware, the planter is easy to picture as a home for leafy greenery as well as lively flowers and trailing vines. The Rosamar flower pots are designed by Belgian Kris Van Assche, who is best known as a fashion designer — perhaps part of the planters' charm lies in the way they bring a touch of the catwalk's energy and glamour into the home.

Kris Van Assche (b. 1976) is a Belgian fashion designer who studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and moved to Paris after graduating in 1998. His career got off to a fast start: he went straight to Yves Saint Laurent as Hedi Slimane’s assistant and later followed him to Dior, where he helped shape the early years of the Dior Homme line. In 2005, Van Assche founded a label under his own name and showed his first menswear collection at Paris Fashion Week. From 2007, he spent more than a decade as artistic director of Dior Homme, where he later moved on to the French brand Berluti as creative director. Van Assche still lives in Paris and mentors at the Polimoda fashion school in Florence.
