Description

The Edo cookware set by Alessi consists of four stainless steel pots and pans with three lids, including:

  • Edo stock pot 20 cm, 4,9 L
  • Edo casserole with handles 20 cm, 2,8 L
  • Edo low casserole with handles 24 cm, 3,25 L
  • Edo saucepan 16 cm, 1,3 L
  • Lids 16 cm, 20 cm and 24 cm

Alessi’s Edo collection got its name from two different directions: the name refers to the Latin word "edere", ”to eat”, and Edo is also an ancient name of the city of Tokyo. Both Italian know-how and Japanese design influences are clearly visible in the smooth, seamless design and harmonious elegance of the collection. The most recognizable details of the Edo pots and pans are the burnished, curved handles reminiscent of fabric ribbons. The Edo range was created by the Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola.

Patricia Urquiola

The Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola (b. 1961) lives and works in Milan. In 1991 Urquiola began working for the furniture company De Padova in Milan, where she also designed her first furnitures. Between the years 1996 and 2000 she was the manager of Lissoni Associati Design Group and in 2001 she opened her own studio in Milan, where she focuses on product design and architecture. Urquiola has won several design awards and done many projects with various design companies, for example Kartell and Alessi.

Extended return period until 31 January 2027

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
