The Globlow ceiling lamp is a member of the Globlow lamps' range designed by Vesa Hinkola, Markus Nevalainen and Rane Vaskivuori from 1996 on. The Globlow lamp has a fan mechanism in it and when the lamp is switched on, it inflates slowly to become a gently glowing globe. Turned off it sinks quietly to sleep. The Globlow is part of the permanent design collection of the MoMa, New York.
