Description
Essem Design’s Tamburin hook strip is a charmingly simple, classic-looking coat hanger, with its only decoration being metal hooks that can be hidden when not in use. When pressed down, the end of the hook is reminiscent of the dorsal fin of a dolphin cutting through the surface of the water. The image is not a coincidence– it was playful dolphins that inspired Andreas Klippinge when he designed the Tamburin wall rack.
With its lightweight look, the Tamburin hook strip is suitable for many hallways, lobbies, cloakrooms or even bedroom walls. Available in a variety of lengths and different shades, there is a wall rack to suit every space.

Andreas Klippinge (b. 1981) was born in Påskallavik, Sverige. He moved from this small seaside town to Växjö where he studied sustainable design at Linnaeus University and where he also established his own design studio, AKD. AKD is focused specifically on industrial production and sustainable design.
